Business & Industry Watch. - Sprint Nextel, Lockheed Martin to bid on GSA contract: Sprint Nextel said it is joining forces with Lockheed Martin to bid for the General Services Administration's 10-year Networx telecommunications and IT services contract. AT&T Government Solutions and MCI also have formed teams to bid on the contract, and Qwest Communications and Verizon Communications also may get into the mix.
