ISPs & BROADBAND NEWS: Dispute between ISPs cuts off some customers

IPSs & Broadband Industry News & Updates.- Level 3 Communications has cut off "peering" connections to Cogent Communications following a contract dispute between the ISPs. Level 3 says their deal is not financially viable and may ask Cogent to pay for the traffic exchanges. Meanwhile, Cogent is offering free Internet service for a year to Level 3 users who can't reach Cogent's sites. For more information go to: CNET.
