Wireless Industry News & Updates.- U.S. District Court Judge James Spencer's decision yesterday to reconsider Research In Motion's $450 million settlement deal with NTP could spell trouble for RIM. Analysts say a likely outcome is that the BlackBerry maker will end up paying even more to settle the case -- perhaps as much as $1 billion, that's a lot of money, but have a big opportunity to increase profits if they don't win.
