WIRELESS NEWS: Citywide Wi-Fi projects study by Telephone, and Cable

Wireless Industry News & Updates.- Telephone and cable companies released a study yesterday warning that citywide Wi-Fi projects such as the one approved earlier this week for Philadelphia pose financial risks. Furthermore, municipal Wi-Fi "could harm an increasingly competitive marketplace which is offering consumers ever faster broadband speeds at ever lower prices," the study said.
