Wireless Industry News & Updates.- Motorola said it will eliminate nearly 1,900 jobs as part of an effort to streamline its supply chain operations and reduce costs, and compete with better prices. The company said the cuts affect 29 locations in more than 20 countries, ouch!. The Wall Street Journal (subscription required).
